We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to do so.

We have no establishment in the EU. Because our services are specifically directed at businesses in the EU, in particular in Germany, the GDPR applies to us under Art. 3 (2) GDPR. We have appointed the following representative pursuant to Art. 27 GDPR:

4. Hosting and provision of the website
This website is operated using the Wix website builder. The provider is Wix.com Ltd., Nemal Tel Aviv St. 40, Tel Aviv 6350671, Israel, together with its affiliates, including Wix.com Inc. in the USA. Wix stores the website content and processes the data generated when the site is accessed. Wix uses service providers for this purpose, including Cloudflare (content delivery network) and Sentry (error monitoring).
When you visit the website, the following data is collected automatically:

• IP address

• Date and time of access

• Page accessed and amount of data transferred

• Referrer URL (previously visited page)

• Browser type, operating system and device type

This data is technically necessary to display the website and to ensure its security and stability. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a secure and functional website. Wix retains log data for a limited period, generally no longer than [period per Wix agreement, e.g., 30 days].
We have concluded a data processing agreement with Wix pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. An EU Commission adequacy decision exists for Israel. Transfers to Wix entities and service providers in the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified, and otherwise on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2)(c) GDPR). 6. Contact form
If you contact us via the contact form, we process your details: first name, last name, company, email address (required), phone number and your message (required). We use this data to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to arrange an initial consultation. The form is provided via Wix Forms; the data is stored with Wix (see section 4).
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the conclusion of a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR (our interest in answering inquiries). We delete the data once your inquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply, but no later than [12] months after our last contact.

7. Contact by email and phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details and the content of your inquiry in order to handle it. Legal bases and deletion as in section 6. Our emails are processed by [email provider, e.g., Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, with location and transfer mechanism].

8. Consultation and client relationship
In the course of a consultation or engagement, we process the data of your contact persons and the company data required for the engagement pursuant to Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. We retain business and tax records in accordance with statutory retention periods (Art. 6 (1)(c) GDPR), generally seven years under US law or up to ten years where German law applies.

9. Download of the country flyer
You can download the country flyer as a PDF without providing any personal data. Only the access data listed in section 4 is processed.

10. Link to LinkedIn
Our website contains a simple link to our LinkedIn profile. This is not an embedded plugin; no data is transmitted to LinkedIn when you visit our website. Only when you click the link are you taken to LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Dublin 2, Ireland), where the LinkedIn Privacy Policy applies.

11. Processing in the USA
We are based in the USA. Data you provide to us via this website, by email or by phone is therefore processed in the USA. The USA does not offer a general level of data protection equivalent to that of the EU; US authorities may access data under certain conditions. Where we pass data on to service providers, we safeguard this with the guarantees described in section 4. We protect your data with technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission (TLS/HTTPS).

12. Further information

• You are not obliged to provide your data. However, without an email address and message, we cannot process your inquiry via the form.

• We do not engage in automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

• We do not sell your data and only pass it on to the service providers named above or, at your request, to partners in the InterGest network.

• We will update this privacy policy if our website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.​
